Want IOS Dominant, Apple Plough Nintendo Officer

Apple apparently did not play in control of the portable gaming market, the evidence they had just reported to hijack one of the officials in the field of communication from Nintendo and Activision.

With the presence of an important person in the company Nintendo and Activision will continue to pressure Apple to build the IOS as the dominant gaming platform.

A report from MCV, which was quoted on Monday (3/11/2011), Nintendo claims that the former UK head of communications Robert Saunders will leave his position in late April for a newly created role at Apple.

Although the report acknowledged that Saunders, and Apple, have not confirmed the news, he reportedly will be focused as homework for the application of the iPad, iPod and iPhone.

Saunders spent seven years at Nintendo, which at that time he helped successfully launch the Wii console and DS.

In addition to Saunders, MCV also reports that Apple has managed to grab Nick Grange public relations director of Activision's European division. According to the report, the role of the Grange, which also has not officially confirmed, will focus on the hardware at Apple iPad.

Last year, Apple hired former IGN editor Matt Casamassina as global manager for App Store games editorial.

Apple's strategy seems to prove telling. According to a report in December 2010 mentions, smartphone game has increased to 43.8 percent in the mobile gaming market, while the number of games played on the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP have declined 13 percent.
