This is the 15th winner of iMULAI 3.0

IMULAI annual program (short for 'Indonesia Begin'), business innovation competition for Information and Communication Technology based offerings Microsoft Indonesia and USAID, announced the 15 winners of the contest at the Balai Kartini, Jakarta, Wednesday (04/06/2011).

Before the competition began, iMULAI has conducted workshops in 7 cities, including Jakarta, Denpasar, Medan, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Makassar. Then the competition registration began on January 29 until March 12, 2011. The collection of proposals was closed until March 20, 2011. And today, April 6, 2011, announced the top 50 best proposals in which the peak of the show, organizers announced the 15 winning proposals.

According to Andy L. Sirait, Chairman of the Competition Committee, a team of judges who come from various professional backgrounds and expertise that is from among entrepreneurs, investors, business analysts, ICT experts and representatives from USAID and Microsoft Indonesia, to determine the winner based on 3 things. First, technological innovation. Is an assessment of the extent to which participants can make innovations in the technology itself. Assessment of level of complicated. Second, the innovation business. Assessment of the extent to which participants are to submit business innovation of its products. Is selling something new or old model. Third, sustainability. Is the projection of participants for the future like what.

For example, financial projections, business strategy, and others. The winners are entitled to license Microsoft software valued at U.S. $ 250,000 maximum. The winners also had the opportunity to participate in Start-Up Bootcamp which lasted for 3 days. On 7 and 8 April 2011 the winners will follow the classroom session at the Hotel Crown Plaza Jakarta. Classroom contains a workshop on financial projections, business scenarios, presentations, as a briefing for the winners.

Meanwhile, 9 April 2011 the pemenag will undergo pitching session in the office of Microsoft Indonesia. On this occasion the winner will have the opportunity to make a presentation to investors, including a Global VC level, 4 VC from Asia Pacific, one VC from Indonesia, 1 Angel Investors from Europe and 2 Angel Investors from Indonesia.
