This discovery was made by several scientists from the Georgia Institute of Technology. They take advantage of Zinc Oxide nano wires, to generate electricity. Theoretically, every slightest body movements, even pinch a finger, can be used generate electricity.
So far, the research led by Dr. Zhong Lin Wang has succeeded in using technology that can transmit radio signals and turn on the LCD display as well as diodes in series. But Wang cs sure, this research will be developed further.
