Sony's PlayStation game console Corp. did a great innovation together with Google, with Chrome browser tool brings to the PlayStation 3 (PS3).
Currently the PS3 console is already available with Google Chrome internet browser pinned after an agreement reached between the two technology giants this summer. So that was launched by the BBC on Monday (6/11/2011).
This is the first agreement that Google has signed with the leading console maker. Google said it plans to tie up the deal further as it looks to promote the browser was launched last year.
Chrome is lagging far behind market-leading Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Internet Explorer is used by more than two-thirds of all Internet users, while Chrome is used by less than 3 percent, according to Net Applications web company.
"Google Chrome User more and more, and we are constantly looking for ways to make Chrome accessible to people even more," said Google.
Some of the PS3 Sony has been running Chrome as a result of the agreement. It is not yet known, whether the old equipment can use this browser as well.
