Mouse World's First Biodegradable

FUJITSU

Manufacturers of computers and information technology solutions from Japan, Fujitsu has just introduced a biodegradable mouse. It seems trivial, only a handful, but the products that are labeled ECO Mouse M440 is the first mouse in the world that the veil can be recycled 100 percent.

No longer using conventional plastics, raw materials using the mouse and Biograde Arboform biodegradable plastic. The second looks like a plastic material in general, but the raw materials from renewable sources so that the waste would be easy to decompose.

Arboform made of lignin, a byproduct of paper industry production company called Tecnaro. While Biograde derived from wood fiber produced FkuR. Fujitsu also ensures that the mouse cable does not contain PVC, material harmful to the environment.

"By choosing this mouse, business people who care about the environment may feel more comfortable because they have helped reduce carbon dioxide emissions without sacrificing durability and fun and without paying higher costs," said a spokesman for Fujitsu said in a statement.

However, the main component of the mouse is mainly circuit in it certainly not 100 percent recyclable. Optical sensors, transistors, and the PCB would not use ingredients that are 100 percent recyclable because they contain metal elements.

Fujitsu including actively developing environmentally friendly products. Previously, keyboard KBPC PX ECO homemade type was already using a plastic material that can be recycled. How much is a unit and whether it will go to Indonesia has been no news.
